We have a requirement where we have to integrate with SAP system and using Connect-REST to connect. Communication between the two system should be in SSL.

We have created a Authentication profile and it stores the target system password(SSL Handshake). Now Pega can authenticate itself and but this is not the ideal situation.

Another way is Client Authentication. PEGA web client presents the X509 certificate in order to logon to the server. Will the x509 certificate will allow pega to authenticate itself on the representation of certificate itself? If yes, how can we do it? What are the steps required to achieve this? Please help on this.
