How to use properties in Data classes for RDA?

Hi All,

We are trying to implement RDA for one of the screens and want to use RDA to read values from Pega screen and post it in an external screen.

The properties displayed on Pega screen are in the data classes and referred using a page property.

We have marked the properties in the data classes as relevant and tried to enable them for RDA.

However, bot is unable to access these properties in the data classes.

Can anyone let me know how we can enable the data class properties for the bot?

P.S : If the properties are under work class and marked as relevant, bot is able to fetch the details.

Hello Veena,

1. Create a normal property in your class
 
2. Declare an expression for the created property to get the data from 'Data Class Property'.
 
After adding the declare expression refer the property in relevant records and use that property in Robotic Activity.

Create a robotic activity component & declare the class as data class & test the connectivity . that's it you can use data class properties from studio. let me know if this helps

Hi,

I have tried what you just said. I am able to get the properties to be retrieve from the robotActivity component.

However when trying to use the said property, the value is always empty even though it has a value on clipboard,

Can you please provide further help with this specific scenario?

 

Although what Hari said is also feasible, we wouldn't want to create another property in the Work- class if it is not necessary.
