How to update particular format of date value in Excel in RPA

I converted date format to MM-dd-yyyy and tried to set that value in a excel cell but the values is updated in MM/dd/yyyy format, Please help

This is part of Excel's internal data validation, since its auto-formatting the date. You can change this on the cell properties on the Excel side, or try passing in the date as a string using the connector.
