How to test a function
I have a function with name pzGetAvailableClassSet and would like to test it by adding some sample code.
What is the way to test/trace a function.

Actaully I have had success with this mechanism of doing a checkout on a function. Private Checkout RUF using pzPrivateCheckOut activity Add oLog.error(); statements as required Click “Generate Function”

function is implemented by java source. You can add System.out.println or use oLog.infoForced("....") to debug. Is this what you are looking for?

Actually the function is in a locked ruleset and since it starts with pz i am unable to save as into my ruleset to update it.
is there any way that we can private edit the function like we do with other rules?

You can't do a private checkout of a function. The easiest way to test the code is to create your own library, create a function (name it whatever you like) and then call the library.function(). If you need to add debugging code, Kevin's suggestions should be helpful.

I have sometimes made an activity java step and copy-pasted the java from the function definition into the activity java step and then inserted calls to sendDebugMessageToTracer. /Eric
