How to setting JVM (MAX_HEAP_SIZE) for Cassandra
Hi All,
We check Cassandra automatically calculates the maximum heap size (MAX_HEAP_SIZE) based on formula. If we want to adjust the maximum heap size (MAX_HEAP_SIZE) for Cassandra, do you know where to change the setting? and what are the best practices for JVM settings?

This document can help you to adjust the heap size:
If you are using embedded Cassandra, you can override heap size through Pega providing following prconfig, for instance:
dsm/services/replace=unreachable dnode/cassandra_heap_new_size=400M dnode/cassandra_max_heap_size=2G
