We are using Kafka services to send the data towards the downstream systems. We have JS built at our end which is internally running the activity which is responsible for checking the connectivty. We are using ootb Call pzCheckConnection activity in order to check the connectivity. When ever there is kafka failure we found prodcution environment is getting impacted as required data is not getting transferred to downstream systems. So we would like to know the approach on how we can send an alert to PDC when there is a failure. Could you some one share the details like do we have any PDC event to achieve this functionality. If not what could the approach on sending kafka connetivity failure related errors to PDC. Note: We also checked on how PDC collects data from PEGA Platform. The document contains it can be achieved via REST Service.
