How to send an Excel as attachment
Hi Team,
I am in a urgent need to send a Excel in a mail as attachment.
I have gone through multiple posts in pdn but nothing helped me with a clear solution.
Can anyone help me with detailed steps .

Could you please check by creating a report schedule and trace the schedule while you run it so that you will get to know how the excel is attached in the mail.
Create a Report Schedule using Pega default Manager portal
1.Launch Manager portal--> Reports-- > any OOTB report--> setting --> schedule.
2.open Designer Studio --> Configure--->Reporting--->components-->scheduled tasks---> Open any one --->Click update---> Change output format to excel --> Submit
3. Run tracer and then Click on Run

Hi ,
From where are you getting the excel? Is it being attached to the workobject or you are generating the excel without workobject?

Please try using SemdEmailWithAttachments activity.
The pyData can be ontained from the xml file of the attachment (excel ) that is being attached to any WO. The instances are found in Data-WorkAttach-File class.
Configure the parameters that are used to send email :

Hi, if you are using MSOGenerateExcelFile to generate the excel and want to send that as an email attachment, for that I have a working solution created in my Personal Edition. I took some reference from "Scheduled Report" functionality and it is working perfectly fine. Drop me a note to Proprietary information hidden and I will share step by step solution.
