How to select a date in the Date picker field
In my application, i do have a Date picker field, where i have access only to click the date field and select a date from the calendar. Please refer to the attached image.
Note: There is no control to the Text area of the Date field. Only option available is to select from the Calendar.
Now my automation is, i do have a date in the excel. I have copied it but how to pass the copied date to this field. Kindly help.

Hi Shanthakumar,
I see the date picker shared in screenshot is a field from Pega Platform. I could find a date picker similar to the one you shared and have written a test automation which is working as expected in my environment.
Please use 3 simple javascript methods to select date,month and year. I have attached the javascript methods which is working at my end. You need to use Execute and InvokeScript methods. Please note you need to use minified script of below javascript methods.
Your Automation design should be as below screenshot:

Which date picker you are using at your end. Are you using web based or window based application.
If it is web based date picker check for HTML and javascript. You need to find out the way how your date picker is working. If it uses javascript find out the exacts methods and trigger those methods using excute and invoke scripts methods.

Hi Adi,
Now i got the Date Picker field in another screen where the JS is not working. Please find attached screenshot (FileName - "Webpage"...The blue highlighted is the date picker field which i interrogated and comes under the webpage "04_ContractProHomeScreen").
Then i pulled the webpage "04_ContractProHomeScreen" into the automation with execute and Invoke method, Pasted your JS code but ended up with an error "HRESULT: 0x80020101 " when i ran the automation.
