How to save a record in data page?

Hi,

I have data type 'Customer' (fields: FirstName, LastName).
Also I have Case Type with flow:
1. Customer fills in form and writes his both names.

2. PEGA saves this customer data as a new record in pega database.

Can you write step by step how to achieve this? 
After completing this short process new record should appear on a data page related to data type 'Customer'.

I figured it out in my way, although I must say that there is very little information to be found in PEGA documentation, academy or collaboration center.
