How to save history for Pega OOTB classes

I have a requirement, we are using Pega Survey builder tool. we are using deprecated pega class Rule-PegaQ-Questionnaire. My scenario is I have to display Audit history for surveys which created in BA portal. I have to track all the transactions like questions created and updated all these. Here how to handle this, as we are using deprecated Pega class. Is it good to creating History class like History-Rule-PegaQ-Questionnaire and map history table to this class?

Can anyone help me on the approach for this scenario.
