How to remove delete record option for a delegated data type

We have a requirement to remove the delete record option for a delegated datatype. When the AROs are modified to remove delete access  an error message is shown on clicking delete. But the requirement is to remove the visibility of delete button, since the section is marked as final we are unable to modify. Could you please help me with a solution.
