How to remove default Icons from Rich Text Editor
Hi,
I want to know how can I remove default icons (Bold,Italic, font.. etc..) from Rich Text Editor?

I added the below code in userworkform and the all the icons got hidden.
<style>
#cke_1_top {
display: none;
}
</style>
However, this might not solve the complete issue. I could still use Ctrl+B to mark the alphabets to be bold. Do you want to disable that as well?
Also, what I failed to understand is why do you want you to hide these icons because the sole purpose of RTE is to have those icons and use them accordingly.
There is alternative such as text area to that. Please let me know if I misunderstood something.

Hi Sumanth,
Bold, Italic, Underline, etc are the basic and minimum options by default provided by the Rich Text Editor. I don't think you can remove these options as the pxRichTextEditor rule is final.

@VenkataSumanthN if you are fine to apply the custom inline style on the RTE then you can able to hide the individual spans of the options or the entire toolbar options with a local change tried in my use case. You can go through the attachment for further reference.

Hi Rachit,
Thanks for helping out with my problem. Your code resolved my issue.
We have a form where I am displaying multiple rich text editors and the form looks clumsy with these icons but we still needed the functionality of pasting images.
Hence I had to remove the icons.
Text Area will not solve the purpose as I will not be able to paste images.
