How to release lock on external assignment after User submitted successfully

Hi, 

We are sending the external assignment link through mail and user able to open the link and submitting it successfully with out any issues, on Submit button we are calling "FinishAssignment" OOTB activity. But if user trying to open new external assignment through link in same browser, user getting lock issue. If he close the browser and open new browser its working fine.

But in same browser we are getting the lock, please suggest.
