how to refer pypagingparams property of Rule-Obj-Listview in a section in pega 7.2

Hi,

I am working in a Upgrade project 6.1 SP2 to Pega 7.2.

I have a section in 6.1 Application, where pyPagingParams of class Rule-Obj-ListView is being refered on textinput control like below. please note that ImageBacklog is my Listview name and pyTotalResultCount is a property of Embed-ListViewPagination.

LISTVIEW_ImageBacklog.pyPagingParams.pyTotalResultCount

So, Can some one guide me how to refer the same property in a section in Pega 7.2. I am getting below error.

String value of a cell—
LISTVIEW_ImageBacklog.pyPagingParams.pyTotalResultCount doesn't exist or is not a valid entry for this ruleset and its prerequisites

I have resolved it.

My Application is on Pega 7.2 and the notation "LISTVIEW_ImageBacklog.pyPagingParams.pyTotalResultCount" is not allowed in Pega 7.2 because the List view is deprecated.

Resolution:

I am using the content page name of my listview from the clipboard like below.

ImageBackLog.pyTotalResultCount

where ImageBacklog is my page list.

Hi Naveen,

I had tried to create a section and added the textfield to access the Embed-ListViewPagination pyTotalResultCount property with the below changes,

Now the property pyTotalResultCount is being accessed as follows,

As pyPagingParams is an embeded page inside Rule-Obj-ListView class the embeded page should be defined in the Page of the Section to refer it in our work.

Kindly let me know if this resolved your issue.

Hi Naga,

Can you see the property present in the clipboard ? If yes then refer it like the way Mahesh suggested.

Also, it is better if you convert these listviews to report definition as List view are no longer available in 7.2 ( Refer : https://community.pega.com/sites/default/files/help_v72/procomhelpmain.htm  )
