How to read data from Microsoft-Sharepoint
Hello All,
I have a requirement to connect to the Microsoft share point and retrieve the results to store it in the Pega database.I tried looking up but there is no sufficient documentation on this.

I wrote an activity to achieve the result.
1. Written a step D_SPOnlineGetFileContent[FilePath:Param.SharePointFileRelativePath]
which retrieves the file though a REST service, but the Resultant is retrieved as content.
2. The "content" should be decoded to byte64 byte array.
Wrote the following java code.
try {
PRFile prFile=new PRFile(strFilePath);
PROutputStream pros=new PROutputStream( prFile );
byte[] tempExcelBytes = new com.pega.pegarules.pub.util.Base64Util().decodeToByteArray(strFileData);
pros.write(tempExcelBytes);
pros.close();
}
catch (Exception e) {
oLog.debug(e);
oLog.debug("Error in parsing Excel file", e);
tools.getPrimaryPage().addMessage("Error in parsing Excel file");
}
3. The Resultant is to be mapped onto clipboard, used pxParseExcelFile to match the "content" with "template" ("template" is the binary file with excel as the source holding the to be mapped results)

Can you elaborate the requirement? Is this an one-time migration or ongoing use cases? Normally the migration is from Pega to ECM (Sharepoint is one of those).

Our Requirement was to
1. write the data into the SharePoint
2. The user from SharePoint retrieves the file appends extra columns manually and places in a different folder
3. Pega should retrieve the file and show it in a report.

Hi Sesha,
We also need to implement this use case.
What should be the File Path Value for D_SPOnlineGetFileContent.
I have given as "Shared Documents/{Folder Name}/{File Name.xlsx}"
I am getting Forbidden access error.
Error: the HTTP response code of 403 indicated a client error. The response data may contain a reason.
I am also passing Auth Profile Name which has Microsoft Details like Client Id, Secret, OAuth (Access Token) etc.
Can you please help on this. Thanks in Advance.
