How to print Japanese characters in PDF
Hi,
I am trying to print japanese characters. I have updated my activity with the param.pyPDFFontsDirectory as it is explained in this post *Removed by Moderation as link no longer exists* and also I have included the related .ttf font in the directory.
However it is not working in Pega 7.1.5., I am getting this error "** Caught exception while creating PDF from HTML stream" in HTMLToPDF activity.
Also I have tried this solution in 7.2 and it is working properly, but I need a solution for 7.1.5.
Could you please help me out here?

Hi Elena,

Since you have mentioned that you get an exception while the PDF is generating, might I suggest you to try out the solution posted in the Support article : https://community.pega.com/support/support-articles/caught-exception-while-creating-pdf-html-stream.

Thanks Evita for your answer :)

But we don't have access to system files, so we cannot try your proposal. Is possible other solution which doesn't affect to system files?

Hello Elena,

As you said the similar configuration working in 7.2 and not working in 7.1.5 I think its better to raise an SR and the support team will guide you and investigate on this .
