How to populate values for Pega 7.4 Select Value feature
Hello all,
How do you fill the select value combo in "When / Strategy / Decision Table" which is a new feature in Pega Platform 7.4 ? With help of an activity, a db table etc ?

Hi Rahul, I checked the documentation but couldn’t find what I’m looking for. How are those list of values populated? Is there an activity executing a select distinct(<<propertyName>>) type sql query to get values or are they manually entered at property level?

Hi,
The following info is specific to populating the Select Values for Data Transforms ... I assume it's the same for When, Strategy and Decision Table rules:
1. Under the "Target" column of the Data Transform, a Property is defined ... that Property should have a "Table type" of "Local List" (other Table types make also work, I'm not sure).
2. The "Table values" should be "Field Value" rules (types other than Field Values may also work ... I didn't check)
If the above is configured, the "Select values" should be populated when clicked.
