How to pass string[] java type to a function in expression

How to use the below function rule in Activity. can someone show some light.

Function and params

I tried like below and its giving me compilation error.

@(Pega-RULES:Utilities).ValidateInvalidChars(Local.CustMessage,  {"\\", "!"})
