How to monitor alerts from AES and send mail
Hi All,
I have a requirement to monitor alerts and send a mail if specific alerts were found, how can i achieve this from PEGA AES?

Yes, AES can be enhanced to add, manage and send custom scorecard notifications. In addition, standard report-writer and report-scheduling capabilities are available?
Are you looking to have AES send notification every time a particular alert is received - like it does for PEGA0010 alerts , to send notification when a new case is created for a particular kind of alert, or periodic statistics regarding an alert?
What is your use case? What is the goal behavior?

AES/PDC do not receive notice of a 'thread dump'. By default, platform produces thread dumps when multiple http reqeuests are received for same session (requestor) and can not be processed within 120 seconds [requestor lock exception] or when a session (requestor) is busy for more than 10 minutes. In Pega731, platform produces a PEGA0086 alert for requestor lock, that includes the relevant section of the thread dump, and the PEGA0019 long running requestor also includes relevant section.
What is cause of thread dumps in your environment? What alert / exception is associated with them?
There are several off the shelf scorecards for specific alert types. There is also the 'new action item' scorecard for notification if there is a new issue created - but only for the first instance of the issue, since presumably a recurring issue might 'spam' an administrator. If issue is resolved but re-occurred scorecard should be re-sent but I have not verified
