How implement an "always on" server for Pega Robotics RPA

We would like to implement unattended RPA robots by hosting the RPA applications as scheduled jobs on a server machine. The part we can't figure out is how to keep the Windows desktop alive and interactive (no lock/logout) at all times so that our Pega Robotics adapters can perform their work. It's seems clear that without the desktop UI open, no automation can occur. Any help is greatly appreciated.

This is a limitation of automating a UI.  We do for most automations require an interactive session.  This is really a Windows limitation and largely determined by the application as well.
