how to get a property value from a different Thread of same requestor

I am trying to get a property value of a page in same pega requestor but in diffrent thread using api but getting nullpointer.

below is sample code

String value = tools.getRequestor().getThread("TABTHREAD0").getPublicAPI().getProperty("pyWorkPage.pyID").getStringValue();
