How to fetch sub string between two semi colons
Hi,
Can anyone let me know how can we fetch a part of string between two semicolons.
For ex.
Input String : ;abc;def;ghi;
Output String : abc

@Whatcomesafter is trimming only first semicolon and returning the whole string , however I want only first portion of String i.e (abc)

Hi,
You can create an activity and in java step can add below code.
String a ="abc;def;ghi";
String b= a.replaceAll(";"," ").trim();
System.out.println("b is "+b);
String c = a.substring(0,b.indexOf(" "));
System.out.println("c is "+c);

Hi,
I'm trying to perform the operation using property set method but unable to do so, there are no functions available in expression builder to achieve the said requirement, can you please let me know if the suggested solution can be used to set a property ? if Yes, can you please let me know how to achieve it ?
