How to execute javascript when a user close a tab in PEGA
Hi,
I've just upgraded from PEGA v7.1.8 to v8.4.3 and I have a problem to keep my customization when a user close a tab on pega when he clics on the cross icon.
We use Customer Service for Insurance
In PEGA v7.1.8, I customized the section CPMPortalRecent and I added "run a script" on the icon used to close a tab. No problem
In PEGA v8.4.1, this section is not used and PEGA manage directly the tabs on the section CPMInteractionPortalWorkArea and It's impossible to find a section including the icon used to close the tabs. The section is not customizable.
How can I add "run a script" when a user close a tab ? Have you any idea ?

Thank your for your response but the solution is not applicable in my use case. I want to execute JS and not an activity or a data transform. So I can't customize the activity CloseDefaults to resolve my problem.

You can either add the JS file and update your harness to use the script. Else, create a section, put the code in the section and then embed the section in the parent harness.
Or you can use activity "CloseDefaults" that can be overriden and specified some steps in it.
