In Constellation you don’t wire keypress events or custom JS, so the way to make Enter act like clicking a button is to let the form handle it. Place your target action as a Button with role Submit (e.g., Finish assignment or run a flow action) in the view footer and mark it Primary. Ensure there’s only one Primary submit button in that view so the browser’s default “Enter submits the form” kicks in. Use single-line inputs; if focus is in a Text Area, Enter will insert a newline rather than submit. Don’t put the button in a header/region outside the form—keep it in the form footer so it’s the default submit. If you have multiple buttons, demote the others to Secondary so Enter doesn’t become ambiguous. For search or refresh patterns, use a single-line field with Change/Blur or an explicit Search button; Constellation doesn’t support custom Enter bindings beyond the default submit behavior.
