How to enable CORS support for custom REST Webservices in PRPC 7.1.9

Is there a way to enable CORS support for custom Rest webservices in PRPC 7.1.9? There is a help article :- https://pdn.pega.com/sites/pdn.pega.com/files/help_v718/procomhelpmain.htm#pega_api/pega_api_CORS.htm which describes how to implement CORS support but it seems its only for the Pega API and not for custom rest services.

Hi,

As of my knowledge, currently Pega supports CORS request for Pega-API Rest Services only.

There is no support for CORS for custom rest services or other http based resources. There is no fix available for it too.
