How to Edit a Decision Table in Excel which has crossed 500 cells using IE.

I am using IE 10, I am trying to edit a decision table in Excel. I was able to do that for decision tables having less than 500 cells.I went to the IE  browser Tools-->  F12 Developer Tools ---> Emulation --> Document Mode  and changed the Document Mode to 9. I was able to edit the Decision Table using Excel. But now the Decision Table has crossed 500 cells. Now even if I change the Document Mode to 9, the Edit in Excel Button is not visible. Any suggestions
