How do I release column space in Grid when the column is not visible

Please see the attached screen shot for more explanation. I want a column in the grid to release the space when it is not visible. Many thanks.

Hi Sorry I have now resolved my problem by adding a section called devicecolour which is displaying the colour in dropdown or in formatted text depending on number of colour available for the device. Many thanks.
