How to display last updated non system operator name for a case

Hello All,

We have a requirement to show the last modified by operator name on UI. If the case is last modified by a non human then it should show the last modified human operator name on UI. This was working like that in Pega 7 but was corrected in Pega 8. But, our business wanted to have the same functionality as Pega 7 where it would show the last modified by as a human operator name even though a case was last update by any background jobs such as agent. 

Can somebody help me on how to solve this issue?
