How to display Drop Down First Value as --Select--

I have a Drop down HTML Control for displaying Countries, which Uses Data Page and the Source for Data Page is Activity .

This works fine , but while displaying , how can i show the First value as --Select--

So that it looks like below

--Select--
AUS
US
UK
PAK

In the properties for the dropdown, select the 'Include placeholder' checkbox and another text box will appear where you can specify the placeholder value as --Select--.
