How to disable Pega Production web (internet) access?

The URL for our production environment is accessible thru internet and we want to block this URL access.

Normally the Designer Studio access is controlled the user access group. So if user A does not have the access right, he/she will not be to gain access. Is this not good enough for your requirement?
