@NagarjunaS16644648 I hope you are talking about connect rest. Con ect rest is used to fetch records. Actually you don't have do anything manually. You will be having a service URL with you, you need to run a connect rest wizard using that URL, all the rules will be created by pega. You just need to use that data page created by pega to fetch the records

@Nagarjuna Saiduwe can create a service package-> service rest-> activity with response property. But i would suggest you can first try the solution which Harsha mentioned. You can create a data page to get the results from pega and provide the ootb URL with dpage as parameter to 3rd party to consume. In this approach you just need to create a dpage. URL is ootb. 3rd party will hit the URL provided by you with the dpage as parameter and get the results.

Create a data page which is responsible for fetching records as per your criteria.
Pass this data page as in parameter for OOTB REST API
http://localhost:9080/prweb/api/v1/data/{ID}
Where ID is your data page Id - data from Pega is available. no need to build any custom rest service rules to expose the data.

@SriHarsha Anika if we need to expose a service to send data results, we need to have a dpage to fetch the results from our pega system and then service side just needs to hit our pega ootb api which accepts dpage as the parameter?
If suppose we need to pass parameters Or query string to the our URL by the service side we can extend the ootb URL you have mentioned?
