How to create a new application in Pega 7.2.2 personal edition?
I just downloaded Pega 7.2.2 personal edition but while creating a new application from PegaRules Icon-> New application I was taken to a template based screen and asked to select a template on which I would like to create the application. While selecting the custom template and going to advanced configuration I could see 2 options- Framework and Implementation. Is there no way that I can select the application structure as Framework and implementation at the same time, like in previous Pega versions? Does this mean I would need to create a framework first and then create another application based on the framework?
In the academy lessons i can see this - Select the type of application you want to create. Choose Enterprise application to create an application with a reusable class structure, case types, data types, and organizational rules. Choose Express application if you do not require a reusable class structure, or you are inviting another user to explore the Pega Express environment.

But I cannot find any option which allows me to select between Enterprise application and express application. Is that because its a personal edition?
Please suggest what's the best way to create an application in 7.2.2 as Implementation and framework.

The new application wizard was updated in Pega 7.2.2. You would need to create the framework and implementation separately.

Yes you first need to create a framework application. Later create a new application, on top of it, by choosing this framework application as a template.
