How to Control GC logfiles
Hi,
Our application is built on Pega 7.1.9 and we could see gc log file is growing large in number in our production environment. Is there any good way to setup control the generation of log file in either websphere or Pega itself? For e.g. if we can have gc log of the last 15 days only.

Hi Anand,
Can you please try -XX:NumberOfGCLogFiles=n , where n is number of day of GC logs you would want to keep.

Hi,
Thanks for sharing the article. Please correct me if I am wrong but I think the article you have shared is related to Daily rolling of GC logs. In that case I am assuming my problem will still remain as it will keep generating the GC log everyday and then some day I have to manually clean it up before disks become out of space.
