How is the communication between Pega & Pega Robot Studio is established?

Can someone help me with how the communication between Pega and Pega Robotic is established. What is the exact role of Pega API service and Pega RPA service?

The connection is established from Pega Robot Runtime, Pega Robot Studio or Pega RPA Service. These are different applications that connect to Pega Platform via two Service Package API and robotics (roboticsSSO for SSO implementations).

It will depend on the configuration applied the API and or robotics services that would be called from the different applications.

Pega RPA service is responsible for managing the Pega Robot Runtime on RPA unattended configurations.
