How to check whether the robotics runtime is available or not

Hi Team,

I am using pega 7.4 version.

Configured RPA as the source in Data page.

I would like to check whether the pega runtime is available or not before invoking the process automation from the data page.

Currently if the runtime is not available it is throwing an below exception which is generic

Caught unhandled exception: java.lang.RuntimeException: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out

If the automation takes long times and same Exception occurs as well.

I would like to handle runtime not available Exception seperately.

Quick suggestion or toughts can be appreciable.
