How can I dynamically place Grid: Auto-generated vs. non-auto generated section?

I have a situation where I need to place a grid into view at runtime.  Few points:

1. I have the name of the Report Definition in a clipboard property and know the applies-to class for that RD.

2. The name of the RD could change on a case by case basis.

3. I want to show the RD in the view and dynamically pick-up the name from the clipboard.

4. Questions:

     a. Can I render using Auto-Generated section with Dynamic Grid and specify virtual report definition selected?

     b. How can I dynamically specify the virtual RD page name? 

     c. Do I need to use non-auto-generated section with Obj-List-View specified?
