High Availability Load Balancer Question
We are in the process of trying to implement High Availability in our environment. Our infrastructure is in AWS and currently utilizes an ELB load balancer. In our organization, there is another group that manages our AWS infrastructure, so we do not have total control of our load balancers. In the HA steps, it reccomends removing an instance from the load balancer before quiescing a node. Our AWS infrastructure team is hesitant to give us a service account with the appropriate permissions to deregister and re-register nodes after maintenance is performed. They do not want to give us a service account.
Does Pega have any other suggestions that we can do to take a node out of the load balancer or marking it as "down" without having direct access to the load balancer?
