High Availabililty - Crash recovery
Does server crash recover the end user portal the way it was before the crash i.e., Will user see the work object opened (at the same screen) if it was opened just before the server crash?
Is the recovery behaviour same for browser crash as well?
pega version used are pega 7.1.8 and pega 7.1.6

Yes, that is correct the UI comes-up at the same stage as it was before the crash. If we any non-persisted data then it might not come-up on browser crash, is my understanding.

I configured HA settings to recover the portal after server crash.
1. Created a work object, moved to third screen, all the changes till second screen were saved in the database
2. Crashed the server
There is another server in the same cluster that the crashed server is in. When the first server was crashed, further action on the work object sent the request to the second server in the cluster and prompted me to enter credentials, and after providing the credentials, default desktop portal (configured in the access group) was shown but not the open work object.
Why is the default portal is shown but not the screen with the work object open (that was what the UI was before server crash)
