Getting error while doing interrogation with chrome browser
Pega studio version -19.1
Laptop windows version -10 pro
We tried following to fix
1.added chrome pega Robotic extension and enable it
2.Registerd the extension
3.cleared browser cache and temp browser
4.increased the time out from 2sec to 5sec
5.restarting pega studio, browser and laptop also
6.Tried changing browser from chrome to firebox and applied step 1to 5
7.Removing cache from appdata folder
8.Re installed chrome and pega studio

During the install, the extension is registered with the messaging host. You can do this after installation if you elected to not install the extension during the installation of runtime or Studio by running a command. You cannot install the extension on its own as it must be registered with messaging host to properly function. You can resolve the issue by uninstalling Pega Robot Studio and reinstalling it as a whole. This did not work when simply trying to uninstall and reinstall Chrome extension, it had to be the entire software.

- Close any running Chrome processes (or any browsers for that matter).
- Open a command window as Admin (It is important to run as an admin).
- Change the command window to the installation directory.
- Perform the following;
- OpenSpan.WebExtensionInstaller Chrome -Status
- This will show you if there are any issues with your extension install.
- OpenSpan.WebExtensionInstaller Chrome -U
- This will uninstall the extension
- Launch Chrome and navigate to chrome://extensions/
- This will show you if you still have any Pega extensions installed.
- If you do, remove them.
- Close any running Chrome processes.
- OpenSpan.WebExtensionInstaller Chrome -i
- This will install the extension.
- OpenSpan.WebExtensionInstaller Chrome -Status
- All categories of the extension should show as "Pass".
- Launch Chrome and navigate to chrome://extensions/
- Ensure that the Pega extension is installed and enabled.
- Once the extension is enabled, open Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc on your keyboard).
- On the Details tab, look for a process named "OpenSpan.Translators.Web.MessagingHost.exe"
- Close Chrome and make sure that "OpenSpan.Translators.Web.MessagingHost.exe" stops.
- OpenSpan.WebExtensionInstaller Chrome -Status
