Get "view reference" from baseclass property

Are there any other ways to see where a baseclass property is getting referenced to? Seems like every time I do this the usual way, which is from the action dropdown, I got a "page is unresponsive" error. This is probably the baseclass is property is a basic one (pySelected) and it is used almost everywhere but I just need to know where it is referenced to at least in my application.
