Get a list of java classes.
Hi,
Is there anyplace where we can get the list of java classes, APIs shipped with pega. I am not talking about the engine API that is already documented.
For example, I got to know that Apache POI is shipped with pega, But I am not getting what is the class name or the APIs available to use. Like POI there may be lots of other library as well.
Is there a list or document for all the java libraries that is shipped?

Hi,
Just a comment that you should never care about the internal (non public) API details. Those are internal to pega and subject to change from release to release.

There is a list of 3rd party products distrubuted with the media for each Pega version. There is not anything to the level of detail you're looking for unless you search the support community and happen to stumble across discussions of how Pega is implementing a specific API. For example, https://docs-previous.pega.com/pega-underwriting-insurance-714-group-implementation-guide has some documentation on how Apache POI is used in the Insurance FW.

Thank you for your comments. I was trying to find a way to use the third party APIs which are shipped with pega. If its going to change from release to release then we should not use this.
So, Suppose I need to use Apace POI in our application, I cant use the POI that is shipped with pega as it might be changed or removed in the next version. I need to upload the POI jar again and use as connect java. That will ensure that the code will run when there is an upgrade. But this will lead to not required code duplication as well.
