Force localization in correspondence rule
Context:
We are using a date property, which is displayed as an include in the correspondence rule.
Using the format Date-Long,
it currently displays as January 1, 2001 when the operator is set to en_EN.
it displays as 01-01-2001 when the operator is set to nl_NL.
Upon generating the correspondence, the current operator locate is used.
Issue:
This specific date property include should always be displayed in accordance to the nl_NL locale.

In a data transform the text property is set using:
@DateTime.FormatDateTime(.pxUpdateDateTime,"dd MMMM yyyy","",nl_NL)
Now the source date (.pxUpdateDateTime) is shown in the nl_NL localization.

To get a better clarification, what is the locale that is being set in the Operator profile, is it set to nl_NL in which format do you expect?

Thank you for posting your query here.
Kindly follow the steps below to see if the requirement can be achieved.
1. Open the correspondence rule having date property [ for example here ValidityStartDate ]
2. Click on source available in RTE of correspondence rule.
3. In correspondence rule, the source code would be like below <pega:reference format="Date" name=".ValidityStartDate"></pega:reference>
4. Replace this with the code below. <%tools.appendString(PRDateFormat.format("xyz","xyz","dd-MM-yyyy",tools.getPrimaryPage().getDate(".ValidityStartDate")));%>
Note: here the date property is ValidityStartDate
