Finding latest date from multiple rows in pagelist

Hi ,

I have the below requirement 

Pagelist 

ID   Date(yyyymmdd)

1     20221012

1     20221011

2     20221009

2    20221008 

My requirement is to fetch the latest date for every ID

My final requirementis below 

 

ID   Date

1    20221012

2    20221009

Please let me know if you have any leads or suggestion.

Hi @SwathiM5232,

 
Prepare a temp pagelist by looping in the source pagelist.
    
      1. For every loop in source pagelist, check if the id is in temp page list. 
 
          i. If the ID is not present, then copy the current iteration to temp page list.
         ii. If ID is in temp page list, then check if ID is not same (just for assurance) and then compare the value of date with current source iteration and value from temp                   pagelist which matches the ID. 
        
      2. Update the date in temp pagelist with which ever value is of highest.

Hi Swathi..

Just try if this works. Sort the entire page list based on ID column using Sort method in data transform with ascending order and also add Date column in same sort method with descending order.

Now iterate over the source page list and when ever ID value changes put that entry into target page list. Your target page list now has the required list.
