File Listener is Processing Duplicate File Names
Can anybody explain me How File Listener process duplicate file names. I have a file Listener with Ignore Duplicate File names Checkbox is enabled.
I uploaded one excel name A and in there I have 3 records, File Listener process it. It is saving the rows in table
Again I uploaded the same File with same name and same content hen also it is processing. It saves the same rows again in table with Unique ID different.

Hi,
Select to prevent processing of a second or later file that has the same name as a previously processed file.
If selected, the system searches the Log-Service-File class for past instances of processing by this listener containing the current file name. If a match is found, the system:
- Bypasses normal processing of the file
- Copies the duplicate input file to the work directory
- Saves it with .dup as the file extension
In your case I hope the entries are cleared in Pr_Log table, please check once.
