If the trailer is missing at End of File - the Success Criteria WHEN rule cannot detect this condition

The epilogue activity that runs can detect that the last record processed was not a trailer and issue a DB rollback

However it would be preferable to pass the exception condition back to the listener to deal with it as configured on the error handling page so that computer operations can monitor the situation

So how can the epilogue activity communicate back to the listener the failure condition
