File listener Connection test error - Couldn't find current host name;
I have created file listener on training VM but the file listener fails to start. Testing connection I get the following error. Look like some system configuration issue but I am unable to identify it.

That proved to be a problem with missing configuration in the Virtual Machine itself and OS level. Fixed it by updating hosts IIRC.

Please post a screenshot of your File Listener, or provide an example of the path you've entered into the form. This will help others assist you.
Generally, you're not going to be entering any host names in the form, just a path to the directory.
