You can use a static method from .Net to get the CreationTime of a file. The FileUtils does not have this method. To add the static method to your Toolbox (to then be able to drag into an automation);

1. Open your automation.
2. Right-click on an area of the Toolbox where you want the static method added (I usually use the General section, but you can create a new section, or add wherever you like).
3. Select Choose Items...
4. When the Choose Toolbox Items window opens, change to the Pega Robotic Static Members tab.
5. Select the radio button labelled "From Global Assembly Cache".
6. Select the Assembly named "mscorlib" (always use the latest version available).
   1. A tip to locating this assembly easily is to type the letter "N" on your keyboard and scroll up as this assembly is alphabetically closer to the bottom of the Ms than the top.
7. Locate the "File" node.
8. Expand it and look for the method "GetCreationTime".
9. You can now drag this method to your automation and supply it a file name to get the FileCreation time.
