Favicon change in Pega 8.1.1
Hi Everyone ,
I'm trying to change the favicon in all the portals .
With earlier product versions (7.X.X ) it used to be that by editing the "pyPortalIcon" Html fragment , we were able to customise the favicon as required.
But after we migrated in to 8.1.1 Enfinity , editing "pyPortalIcon" . seems not working. It keep showing up the Pega logo.
Can anyone please help out to find a way to overcome this issue in 8.1.1 version ?

pyPortalIcon is still used to style the browser tab icon. Try to do a private checkout of the file from Pega-UIEngine and point to a different .ico file like shown below - Then launch your end user portal as a secondary portal - the new icon should be displayed

Thanks for the response . I already tried editing the "pyPortalIcon" Html fragment for some reason that does not work in 8.1.1 .
We are currently on the process of migrating the product from 7.3.1 to 8.1.1 . Which on 7.3.1 we customised the favicon by saving "pyPortalIcon" to application ruleset and by customising it . Which works perfectly. But the same customisation doesn't work on 8.1.1 .

Check your generated html source, see whether it is pointing to correct icon and also try to open that icon. Somehow, my icon is corrupted and I recreated it using https://www.favicon-generator.org/
