Export To Excel taking a long time
Report definition with 8000 records.
I takes about 20-25 seconds to export to excel.
Is there any way to minimize this time ?
We cannot disable the formatting because we have date-time properties.
Tried exporting using a binary file but again the issue is that the activity MSOGenerateExcelFile does not format the fields.

Can you try the below steps and test the performance :
Increase the value for the below properties in Data Access Tab:
1. Open the Report Definition > Data Access Tab.
2. Increase the values for the following parameters:
Maximum elapsed time in seconds
Maximum number of rows for export
Maximum elapsed time in seconds for export

Can you confirm if always it take around 20-25 seconds?
Have you tried reducing the number of columns at your end?
Also please check your network speed (http://beta.speedtest.net/) at your end and check if simulating the modem speed via fiddler (http://www.telerik.com/fiddler) shows any improvement.

Hi,
Are you using declare expressions in any of the column of report definition?If yes then please try to disable the declare expressions and verify.Which prpc version you are using?There is a hfix present for prpc 6.x versions.
