Exercise: Adding and removing items from the combo box dos not work
Hi There,
I'm studying Pega Robotics and bumbs against an excersize I cannot get completed. The exercise is "Adding and removing items from the combo box".The proposed way of working is highlighting the Items property in teh object explorer, then In Object Inspector, click Configure Type (books) button. I followed this instruction and the Add and Remove methods _should_ show in the list of methods of the combobox so that they can be drwn to the automation window.
The Add and Remove methods of the combobox Items property however do NOT show up in the Object Inspector. And yes I did click the "Show Methods Only" icon.
As far as I can guess this is a bug in Pega Robotics Studio. My version of Studio is

Is this a kown issue? If yes has it been fixed in the meantime?
Is a newer version of Studio availabe? If yes how to download?

Just installed a new version of Pega Robotics Studio (version 8.0.1081.0). Problem solved! Thanks for helping.

To add and remove items from a combo box you need to manipulate the items collection. This may be accessed more than one way. The easiest way is to click on Explore Component Properties in the Object Explorer.
Then select Items and then use Configure Type to get to those methods.
An alternate way to do this is to extract a proxy from the Items property. This will also allow you to operate on the underlying object collection.
